Fan
The fan converts electrical energy to mechanical energy. It uses a motor to turn blades attached to the axle of the fan. The blades push molecules of air to create the breeze we feel. The motor of the fan has loops of wire spinning inside stationary magnets, just like the generator, but in reverse! A motor converts electrical energy to mechanical energy, where as, a generator converts mechanical energy to electrical energy.
